    Excellent

Fantastic Shoe. Robust and well built. Gold standard for Ice Climbing, and a better color than the La Sportiva ;)

For reference I wear a 44.5 in Scarpa approach shoes (Mescalito, Spirit, Crux Air) and a 42.5-43 in Scarpa Climbing shoes. I got these a whole size up in 45.5 and am very pleased with the size up. (It's a lot easier to add volume than take it away)

Fit's perfectly with the Petzl Lynx crampons, and I may even try to get them into a splitboard binding. Excellend customer service

Alaskan Arborist- Best Boots I Have Owned

I am an arborist in Alaska. I also used to be a wildcard fire fighter in California, so I have owned a lot of different boots. To name a few: Wesco's, La Sportivas, Danners, Zamberlans, White's, etc. Within the past couple of years I have found that Scarpas seem to fit my feet well. This is not an easy task to fill either as I was in a lawnmower accident when I was 5 which left me with four toes on my left foot causing it to be shorter and wider than my right. As of lately, I've been wearing Scarpa's Charmoz HD which have been great, but with winter approaching, I was wanting something a little warmer and finally pulled the trigger on the Mount Blanc's. I would like to say that I'm the only person at my company that wears Scarpas. The majority of the veterans I work with wear the La Sportiva Nepal Evos. They all rave about them but I've been skeptical due to price and issues I've seen over the years. I mean, one of my coworkers had the sole rip off his boot. Anyways, I bought the Mount Blancs, and when I've read reviews on all the other boots I've owned in the past, people always say," there is no break in period." Which I have always found to be untrue. Even with the Charmoz that I own, but I only wore these Mount Blancs to the grocery store the night before my first day at work, and they felt like I had been wearing them for months already. They just form really well to the foot. We also had some record breaking back to back days of snow recently, and they've been…

    Dry feet all season

I've worked in the Sierra Nevada's for the last 20 years as a ski lift mechanic. I've struggled to find a boot that would keep my feet dry in the variable conditions that these mountains produce. Other boots would make my feet cold from sweating or I've ended up with boots that just simply get wet from being in the elements all day. The Mont Blanc Pro is the first boot that I've ever had that keeps my feet dry every day all day long for the entire fall, winter and spring seasons. I've stood in ankle deep puddles for five minutes at a time without a single drop getting to my feet. I'm impressed and cant wait to see how they hold up for year number two.
