SCARPA Ski Sizing Chart

All SCARPA ski boots use Mondo sizing.

SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size.

Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these telemark boots are comfortable, lightweight, and offer excellent walking capability with improved touring performance compared to previous models. Many appreciate the three-buckle design, power strap system, and secure heel pocket that locks the foot in place. Users find them responsive for edge control and skiing performance, though several note the boots feel stiffer initially and require a break-in period for the bellows to flex naturally. Common feedback includes praise for the walk mode functionality and overall fit out of the box. Some mention concerns about the power strap design and snow packing on the sole. Reviews highlight their effectiveness for both resort and backcountry skiing.

    Haven’t skied yet but excitrd

Bought to replace older pairs of TXT Pros used for over 10 years patrolling - other patrollers giving them rave reviews, can’t try them yet - no snow left in Montana - but soon!

    TX PRO MEN’S

Purchased to replace an older pair of blue/red pro’s. This is my second pair of the newer pro. As a patrolman I keep 2 pair one where I patrol another for mid week travel. I’ve found them to be comfortable and warm, easy to walk in and great edge control.

    Shiny New TX Pros

As a self described ski ***, my trusty blue/orange TX Pros have seen a lot of tele-days. I love them, but it was time. The updated version has some nice improvements - 3 buckles and the new strap - and is noticeably lighter. However they seem stiff, and the change in walk mode may kill me, but I am excited to ski in more them.

    So close to perfect!

I wanted to love this boot, and I still want to love this boot after two seasons with them. Unlike most other reviewers, I slipped into these after using my beloved Crispi NTN Evos for years. I found the sizing to be spot-on as someone with a narrow, low volume foot. They are light, and they walk like a dream. For me, something is off between the ankle flex and the bellows that keeps the boots too upright. I can't get low enough in my stance, even with the forward lean set to maximum. I bottom out the bellows and ankle way before I feel stable and powerful. I still ski patrol in these boots one or two days per week and enjoy myself with one of two departures to the intended use. If the snow is variable and foresee a lot of parallelamark skiing, I will lock them into ski mode but leave the top buckle open and the power strap loose. If it's a pow day or the snow is uniformly supportable, I buckle the top buckle and tighten the power strap but leave the boots in walk mode. I think the perfect solution would be to mount my Phantom Link Levers from my splitboard boots onto the Scarpa TX Pros. Perhaps someday I'll put four hours into that project and report back. Maybe I'm crazy, but these being telemark boots, they're produced exclusively for people with a few screws loose.

    Powerful NTN Telemark Boot

These boots are a real upgrade from my prior NTN "Magenta" colored boots. The middle buckle is much easier. The booster strap hook style is also much better than the velcro one. The boot was initially much roomier; but heat molding the liner helped with that. The boots easily fit into my Lynx & Outlaw bindings. The boot is stiffer with less ankle flexion than my old boot. They are mostly broken in now, so this is less of an issue; but I still need to use more pressure & consequently, the force is not immediately delivered to the ski resulting in a slight delay in the turn. But, I can see how this stiffer boot could be helpful in getting higher edge angles. It's just taking more time to get there for me. I'm a lightweight, small frame person, so that might have something to do with it. I do recommend this boot. It's comfortable. I'm in it all day patrolling & ski instructing. It is guiding me to change perhaps the way I used to ski & maybe that's for the better.
