    A wonderful ride!

Let me start by saying that if a shoe doesn't fit the shape of your foot, it's not a good shoe for you. That said, the Ribelle Run fits my foot very well. Not a perfect fit, but pretty close. I have a medium width, low-volume foot. There's a little more room than I need in the toebox, but not enough to cause any issues since my foot is well captured in the vamp. The Sock-Fit is great at keeping debris out, and gives a snug but comfy feel. Out of the box, I found the Sock-Fit comes up a bit high on my ankle bone on the lateral side, but after my first run it was no bother. The outsole is nice and grippy, and the midsole has just the right amount of cushioning for low to medium mileage. The midsole cushioning may be good for long runs, but that's not me. Lol. All is all, this shoe provides a wonderful ride, and I look forward to several miles ahead.

    A trail running machine

I think there is a reason this shoes has been in the lineup for awhile and it's because it's a fantastic shoe. It's my first choice shoes for big mileage days in the mountains or grabbing a coffee. It's super comfortable in all environments. The quick and easy adjustment to tighten or loosen the shoe is extremely nice.

    The BEST mountain shoe!

This as well as the GTX version have been my all-time favorite mountain running shoe during summer and fall months in dry locations. The protection around the toes it perfect for bombing up or down all types of loose, technical terrain. It has been the ultimate foot protector on touch mountain terrain. The grip is also bomber. I climb/scramble up to 5.4 in these multiple times a week.

    Precision for the trail

I've been running on the Ribelle for about 6 weeks now, including a technical 25K in New Hampshire's White Mountains. This shoe is built for super technical trails where stability and precision are key. The sole is incredibly sticky on granite and the entire forefoot of the shoe super rugged. This is not built to be a squishy shoe for flat gravel miles. It's built to give you a stable and supportive ride through rough terrain. If you "run" technical, steep, and rocky trails, this is your shoe.

    Solid

This shoes fits so comfortably while still feeling technical. The speed lace setup is the best one I’ve used. Not the lightest shoe SCARPA offers but it seems like it will last much longer than the Saucony Peregrines I’m switching from while performing similarly. Very happy during my initial runs in them on snow. The rand is exceptionally nice!
