RIBELLE RUN 2 GTX HOMME (NOUVEAU)

I picked up the older black and green version, as they are hard to find in stores locally. I work at rei and for some reason we don't stock these gems. So comfy for 15 mile+ days. little narrow so I sized up a bit but they are so cushy in the heels, and firm on the ball of your foot for scrambling. definetally not water proof when post holing in spring snow, but thats expected. put around 100 miles or more on them and the tread is just starting to show slight wear. Surprising for how soft the lugs feel and how much bite they have. I would say at this point that these shoes will double or tripple the lifespan of the altras I had on the pct and probably 25 percent longer lifespan of the lasportivas I had prior to these. If I were to make any changes to this shoe, I would maybe have it just a touch wider and a squared off toe box and add a climbing section in the toe lol. But I am incredibly pleased with this shoe, super light, super grippy, the rand going around the shoe is awesome for scree feilds, not approach shoe protection but enough to not hurt. These might actually replace my approach shoes (might).
