I might change this later. but I cant wear these boot for more than 1 day otherwise my feet hurt so bad I can bearly walk. So i have to alternate them with another pair of boots.
I hope that its just the break in period because they are great for walking up slopes

Hi upgraded my 15 year old Scarpa Charmoz(or something similar) to the new Ribelle's. So far they have exceeded expectations. I bought the same size as my old boots, and the same size I am in all my other Scarpa footwear, and the length is the same. I like the room in the forefoot and the heel cup really locks my heal into place. Weirdly I find the laces slightly too short to do a double knot. They worked fine with my petzl crampons. I think they are way more comfortable for long approaches and descends.

I have done a few long days in the Sierras, Rubys and Winds and these have performed well. They stay dry after treating with nikwax during some long days in the snow. Have a great toe box for kicking steps. Lace system is adjustable and solid. Could not get my BD crampons on the toe and still have not tried them with crampons.
