Have not worn outside yet - tempted to return before I do. The toe box is tight and angled like a pointy triangle more than the images show. Surprising - never had a shoe like this, and this shoe seems to run a little large otherwise. A half inch of room in the toe box width would make so much difference and still feel snug enough. Also feel a slight defect on left front toe floor of shoe where it is raised with a bump, causing the narrow toe box issue to be further exacerbated. Unfortunate. Otherwise seems like a solid shoe.

Another good relatively light weight shoe that is great for every day wear or for specific walks. Wish it came in other colors. Size was true to other Scarpa shoes.

After one adventurous hike, it has good grip on rock, on steep ramps, over wet rocks and tree fall and was comfortable on even trail. I have a regular width and somewhat low volume foot. For me, it was true to size, an athletic and firm fit and surprisingly comfortable for a rigid shoe.
