I live on the west coast so the boots are warm enough for my needs and are nicely light weight. They are quite stiff and the laces are slippery and too short to double knot.
I definitely prefer the fit and flexibility of my Kailash Trek GTX's.

Boot is everything a hikier could desire in cold winter hikes. Also great around towner.
If it had the same winter compound sole that boots from Asolo, Keen & Baffin boot have plus crampon compatibility, I would be my “go to”
boot forever.
