Feature UPDATED LAST
UPDATED LAST
A new 102mm wide last provides more performance and comfort. The widest part of the shell is now located further back on the lateral side of the foot, near the “sixth toe” providing more comfort in a critical area for a lot of feet. To further enhance fit and performance, the toe box and heel pocket have been reshaped to provide a significant increase in both precision and responsiveness compared to previous versions. More comfort, more performance!
Feature CARBON CORE SHELL + CUFF
CARBON CORE SHELL + CUFF
The Maestrale/Gea RS model shells combine Carbon Core technology with Grilamid®Bio for increased power and and impulse transmission without adding weight. The all new cuff design now uses Pebax Rnew as opposed to Grilimid to give a more progressive flex throughout the turn. The RS model cuff also features Carbon Core technology for increases torsional rigidity while also providing a 61-degree range of motion for long efficient strides.

SCARPA Ski Sizing Chart

All SCARPA ski boots use Mondo sizing.

SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size.

Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

    love the changes

This is my 3rd pair of Maestrale boots. Previously, I've been between the 26.5 and 25.5. Punching was required for the 25.5 but the overall fit and performance was better than the 26.5, which was a tad too big. The new 25.5 fits my front foot much better and the heel cup holds my foot better. No punches needed:) The boots are warm and have great uphill and downhill performance while driving a QST Echo 106.

    QUATTRO XT REPLACEMENT

For my feet, better comfort than the Quattro XT and superior design for uphill and downhill performance are similar.

    Great improvements on the fitting

Great new model—the boot fits so much better on my wide feet and high instep. Well done!

This is my second pair of Maestrale RS boots and the third generation I’ve worn overall, and it’s definitely the best so far.

After 10 years of using Maestrale RS, they’ve proven to be a solid, reliable, and high-performance option. Scarpa continues to deliver, and they’re an awesome brand to trust and work with.

    Best touring boot!

Killed it with the RS, Scarpa! I’m so glad I updated from my old clunky 2000s Scarpa Mobe.

This boot is so much lighter and stiffer than my old boots. And super comfortable with stock liners even before molding and just a single punch for ‘ol lefty. The cuff is so flexible it n walk mode compared to my Tecnica Cochise 120s. Click into ski mode and they feel pretty stiff and perform nearly as well as the heavy Cochise on the downs. Go get a pair if they fit ya!!!

    Great looking boots!

I have not had the opportunity to use these boots yet. I did have an older model last spring and loved them. I will be doing a more detailed evaluation after the season starts.
