I’ve found Scarpa trail shoes work best for me. I really like my Spin Planet and the Golden Gate is just as good. I went up another half size and now know exactly what works best for me. Fit is outstanding with excellent stability and firm cushion.

This is my 3rd pair of Golden Gates and by far the best version for me. I find it to have ample cushioning without feeling too squishy.
I’m typically a 46.5 in all my Scarpa trail runners and approach shoes and the same with these. I find good consistency across the Scarpa brand for this type of shoe. High quality as per usual.

I've worn SCARPA's nearly exclusively over the past several years from mountaineering boots to trail running shoes. I had several pairs of the previous Golden Gate 2s. As much as I liked the previous model, this new Golden Gate LT is probably my new favorite trail running shoe ever. Fit great right out of the box and got even better as I broke them in. The level of cushion and support is perfect plus I love the position of my foot during ground strike. Grip level is great as I transition from asphalt to sandy, rocky terrain; very secure. I couldn't be more impressed!!! I can't think of a single way to make them better.

i was afraid at first that those shoes will be to stiff ...after an hour in the shoes my feet was mold to it an i feel like on a little cloud of comfort ...clearly recommend those shoes !!!
