The Crux approach shoes were extremely comfortable right out of the box on my first long hike in them. The grip of the soles on various rock types is exceptional. Others on the trail noticed and asked about them. I'm very pleased.

Function, fit, quality, value, Scarpa shoes have served me well. I especially appreciate they still make suede and leather options. Was really happy with the men's Gecko, seems this is the replacement for that.
