All SCARPA non-plastic footwear and our Alien 3.0 uses European sizing.

1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
The 30 Euro sizes below cover the same size range as 24 US sizes
Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
For mountaineering boots, upsize (1/2+ sizes) depending on desired fit.

Great for a wide forefoot!
Tried on a lot of boots from top brands. Nothing fit like the SCARPA. Nice full toe box but not cavernous. Comfortable around the ankle. Easy to adjust the fit with different socks using the laces. Love the Vibram sole. Finally a keeper!

Great so far
Have not yet had a chance to put them through their paces (pun intended) but the fit, construction and materials are first class. Was concerned they might be a bit narrow as some earlier Scarpa footwear seemed to be, but not an issue here.

Great light-weight hiking boot
I ordered Scarpa's Vento GTX hiking boot because I wanted a relatively light-weight hiking boot for day hikes and general purpose wear. So far, they've been great!
