A large, super sticky rand and our PAF heel system further enhanced comfort while the dual Velcro closure means the Generator V is quick and easy to get off.

My last ditch plea to save the generator V. (Looks like theyre being discontinued because of all the sales) no company makes a modern super stiff, trad shoe thats not a high top. The Generator V is sort of the only shoe in this category thats modern. The ability to just rip some velcro and pop your shoes off at the belay on long routes is a forgotten luxury that someone needs to keep alive. These climb great and I may stock up on them before they go.

Best moderate pair of shoes ever, imo they are a perfect cross between the Forces and the Instincts. Everything you want in a relaxed, comfortable shoe, that you can wear all day long with little discomfort. While also being everything you need in a strict, hard, reliable shoe. They give me the confidence to trust every move I make with my feet, while also being chill enough to wear for a 6hr+ session.

Great shoe overall! The heel was different than I’m used to and I thought I wouldn’t like it, but it works even better. The amount of rubber at the front is an added bonus for toe hooks. Overall they fit very similarly to the helix, but were just the upgrade I was looking for!
