I greatly enjoy my Mojitos. I had worn Scarpas for 5 years, following tendon repair for everyday walking. I found that the Mojitos are a nicer replacement. They are comfortable, look good, and they feel much lighter than the Scarpas. However, I am very sad that they will no longer be available in size 43 which means that I won't be able to replace them when needed. ( I have also seen that the European market can get them in a variety of colors that are not available in the U.S, and again, they don't offer size 43.) I'm hoping that after reading this, Scarpa will start making them again in size 43.

As a longtime purchaser and wearer of the mojito model it never fails to fray at the ankle step in. I have contacted Scarpa about this a few years ago. No response from the powers that be.

The Mojito in petrol is the coolest shoe I’ve purchased in a very long time. The color is amazing, and the lacing gives it a distinct European look which contrasts so nicely with my usual American running shoes. It fits beautifully (I sized up one 1/2 size), feels substantial without being heavy, and is comfortable right out of the box. This was my first Scarpa purchase—there will be others.
