The new Quantic was designed for climbers who are looking for a comfortable shoe that performs across a wide spectrum of climbing disciplines. The slightly downturned shape with a medium-to-high angled toe box is paired with flexan insert plus HT-Tension™ to create a shoe that is extremely versatile. The Quantic combines a soft adaptable upper with a full-length outsole providing a solid platform for excellent edging ability. At home in either the gym or on rock, the Quantic is a perfect choice for climbers that demand a shoe for all modern climbing disciplines and classic multi pitch routes as well. The Men's model shares all of the features of the Women's version but with a slightly more generous fit. The Quantic is surprisingly comfortable for a performance climbing shoe!

HT-TENSION™ SYSTEM
HT-Tension™ is a minimal, lightweight, one piece active rand system that runs the full length of the shoe in one individual piece. It supports the entire length of the foot front-to-back, and is very effective at keeping the original shape of the shoe over its entire life-span.
PRESSURE ABSORBING FIT (PAF) SYSTEM
PAF (Pressure Absorbing Fit) is an innovative heel system that helps both spread the force of the heel tension and increase the fit of the heel. The Active Rand rubber is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the achilles tendon and connected with 2mm XS GRIP2 rubber, that works like a bridge and allows full adaption to the shape of the heel while still providing dynamic forward pressure to focus power over the big toe. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, which varies between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for mid tension and 3 holes for strong tension.

I wasn't quite sure where these would fit in my quiver, but I find myself grabbing them for the typical crag days. Maybe not my choice for projects, but so good for just a casual day of a bunch of pitches. I wore them almost every day at the RRG this season and found that they excelled on vertical there while still being really comfortable.

I like these shoes I am still dealing with toe pain but it sticks to the wall like no other. Nice closure and color scheme. Toe shape it great for grip but hard on toes. Scarpa never fails at making quality products

I wanted a shoe that did not force my foot into a downturn too aggressively, but still had great edging power for technical footwork. I didn't want a completely flat lasted shoe either because overhanging terrain is no fun with that type of shoe. The Quantic gave me the technical ability and more moderate fit to still achieve the grades that I was happy to climb. The velcro system allows me to snug the upper over my narrow foot securely. I really love the Quantic for it's versatility on steep and vertical terrain while being comfy enough to wear on slabs

No complaints great shoe. I have tiny feet and the smallest size was too big I was hoping for a 37 but alas they don't makem that tiny ???? this is just a me problem.

Good shoe to get you started - pretty comfy as far as shoes go while still giving a nice feel on the wall. Stretched a bit more than I wanted when I broke it in, but I can't complain given the price. I sized 1/1.5 down ( can't remember) and it was great.
Used both outdoors and indoors - mostly indoors. I would say this is probably better for the latter but I have no problem with using these on a real climb (no multi-pitch, easy climbing for long distance though). Bouldering wise you're good either way.
