Biography
I’m a photographer, artist, writer, guidebook author, and climber based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I started climbing in the early ’90s, and have been working in the outdoor industry and climbing world since 1998. Magazines and companies across the globe have used my photography. I’ve authored five climbing guidebooks with a few more on the way, and have written many feature articles for climbing magazines. I’ve done more than 200 first ascents throughout the West and have traveled the world to climb. Much of my work now is focused on building a more inclusive, diverse, and safe community within climbing and the outdoors.

communities aspiring to take their sport or career to the next level. The mission of this program is to connect
mentors with mentees focused on the sports we serve to provide participants with opportunities for personal,
athletic and career development with the goal of helping to create a more inclusive and diverse community of
athletes.
