- 1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
- 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
- The 30 Euro sizes below cover the same size range as 24 US sizes
- Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
- For mountaineering boots, upsize (1/2+ sizes) depending on desired fit.

In NW Montana. I hike on a lot of rocky trails and this boot meet my needs. Sometimes my Mescalito boots or Moraine MID are more then I need and the Moraine Low works great. Just like the Moraine MID, fantastic traction and the underfoot offers great protection in scree and talus.
Because of the support, the Moraine required some break-in mileage with the upper. It started as a good fit and the comfort of the upper improved nicely without losing support.
I normally wear a 46 in Scarpa and the Moraine is true to size. My feet are lower volume, with a narrow heel, higher instep and almost E-Width forefoot. The Moraine has slightly more volume then needed in the heel but enough room in the instep and toe box for an overall very good fit. I prefer to compromise on very minor heel slippage vs a forefoot that is too narrow.

The Moraines seemed to run quite wide compared to numerous other Scarpa shoes & boots that I have purchased in the past, so I had to return them. Otherwise, they seemed well built and sturdy.

Love the support of my new Moraine WP shoes. They were very comfortable on our trip to hike in the mountains. My only disappointment with the shoes. and this is a very small disappointment, They are advertised as oiled leather. These seem more of a suede than oiled. My thinking was that oiled leather would be easier maintenance. Again this is a very small concern. I would buy these again.

Of all shoe manufacturers, Scarpa lasts match my feet the best, so this shoe fits great and is true to size like all my Scarpa shoes and boots. Despite the compressed EVA midsole, this is a sturdy shoe with a lot of support for my 250+lb excess.
