RUBBER TOE PATCH

BI-TENSION SYSTEM

Bi-Tension system is a tensioned rubber wrap reaching down two sides of the shoe. It gives priority to sensitivity and subtle support. Specially adapted to our slightly asymmetrical models, Bi-Tension runs under the front of the toes and draws down along the sides of the foot, leaving the center pad for sensitivity.

Great value! Really comfortable shoe and great performance!

These shoes are worth the price tag! Very comfortable shoes with a very nice edge!???? these shoes not only feel great but they look great too. They are basically an aggressive shoe but with moderate shoe feel to them. I can wear them in between climbs and my feet don't hate me because of it. That's hard to be able to do with most moderate or aggressive style shoes. Couldn't have possibly found a better shoe for me. Definitely buying again in the future for a second pair and again when I blow a hole through them. Highly recommend these.

    One of the GREATEST EVER

The Instinct family of shoes is one of the VERY BEST EVER in the history of climbing. They are capable of anything, depending on how you size them, and with multiple fit options -- there is absolutely an Instinct shoe for EVERYONE. However, these are not beginner shoes, and require a premium price due to the materials and very complex construction. If you aren't precise with your footwork, you will burn thru these shoes quickly... and most any high performance climbing shoes. (Check out the amazing Origin shoes for a more inexpensive and durable option). The lower volume Instinct models work the best for me, and I prefer Grip rubber more often as well, so I mostly use the "women's" models, but I have climbed a lot in every single model in the family. These shoes are really phenomenal, and I have so much trust and confidence when I have them on. Year in and out, I find myself using these models when it matters most. I cannot recommend a climbing shoe more.

Some rubber issues, but overall bomber shoes

Love these shoes and have been wearing the instinct line of shoes for a while now. Was pretty disappointed that the toe patch on top of the shoes started to peel within about a week of wearing them pretty sparingly, and never heard back from customer service about warranty or getting a replacement :( Still bomber shoes nonetheless

    Goated

I have been experimenting with shoes for a while and I always come back to this shoe. The last is great for my foot shape which is long and narrow. The tow box is smaller than the laced version, so if sized properly, I can use it for thinner granite cracks. I think it is one of the best all around shoes I've ever worn. I use it for the gym. I used it for hard face climbing at Donner summit and hard overhanging climbing at Jailhouse. I use it in the gym. If Im on something with super small edges I'll use something stiffer but this shoe is always in the pack.

My go to shoe for all around hard climbing.

I use this shoe on almost every boulder, its versatile, while also being powerful and precise.
