The Ribelle® Cross 2 GTX is a fast, agile hiking shoe built for people who move quickly and confidently across trails, ridgelines, and technical terrain. Inspired by trail running footwear, it delivers a light, responsive feel while adding the stability and protection needed for longer hikes and variable conditions. The waterproof GORE-TEX® ePE membrane keeps feet dry through wet weather and muddy sections without sacrificing breathability. A secure, low-profile fit promotes precision on uneven ground, while the responsive cushioning keeps each step smooth and efficient over long distances. Underfoot, dependable traction provides confidence on dirt, rock, and mixed surfaces.

    Shoes are fine but laces wear out in a few months

    As a replacement for the discontinued Scarpa Zen they are ok, but not as good. However, the laces wear out very quickly because of abrasion at the metal eyelets. And no replacements are offered. Scarpa was my standard shoe for decades, but no more.

    Narrow Toe Box

    Have not worn outside yet - tempted to return before I do. The toe box is tight and angled like a pointy triangle more than the images show. Surprising - never had a shoe like this, and this shoe seems to run a little large otherwise. A half inch of room in the toe box width would make so much difference and still feel snug enough. Also feel a slight defect on left front toe floor of shoe where it is raised with a bump, causing the narrow toe box issue to be further exacerbated. Unfortunate. Otherwise seems like a solid shoe.

    Comfortable walking/hiking shoe

    Another good relatively light weight shoe that is great for every day wear or for specific walks. Wish it came in other colors. Size was true to other Scarpa shoes.

    These fit my wide forefoot well, I like the flex pattern, great traction. Haven’t tested yet it wet conditions.
