Obviously variable based on foot shape but these are a dream. No hotspots, extremely grippy, and do everything I could want. Not necessarily a “stylish” shoe but that’s not the point.

I’ve worn this light weight shoe in Indian creek, joes valley and longer approaches in the Wasatch. The Rapid LT is Super comfortable and stiff enough to keep my feet comfortable in talus and in the desert.

Hopefully it will break in, but it doesn't have the same support and comfort as the leather version. Tongue slips to the side too, needs a keeper loop on the tongue of some kind.

First and foremost, this shoe fits a wide forefoot pretty well. If you wear vapors over instincts, and/or quattro's over maestrale's, you'll like this shoe. Climbs great, hikes well, good on snow, seems durable enough, Good ventilation and dries quickly. I wear a 10US and 42.5 is good fit.

My all time favorite shoe was the old Rapid LT, after some revisions this one is now my new favorite. The roomy toe box makes these an easy all day pic. The sole has the right amount of sensitivity; not too soft where you can use them on rocky approaches but not too hard where you loose all feeling smearing. The little details like the stitching, finger loop to get them on and ridged rear all add up to an amazing shoe.
