The Origin offers a lush leather upper, giving a feeling of padded luxury that is rarely found in a shoe aimed at encouraging people to start climbing. The flat profile and relatively relaxed randing ease the climber’s feet into a cocoon of comfort. The hook-and-loop closure keeps the foot snug and well positioned during use. The Origin introduces SCARPA’s Vision rubber, a proprietary compound that is both sticky and resilient to all the conditions that new climbers feet will experience.

- 1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches

Great shoe. It’s a comfortable climbing shoe but maybe for a beginner. Not strong enough in the toe for technical moves. I moved up to the vapor v and am happy with them as well.

So far, so good. I've only worn them twice and they were comfortable and grippy both times. I bought them as a secondary pair while my current primary (La Sportiva Tarantulace) gets resoled. They could very easily become my primary shoe. They are a bit wide for my foot, but I think it's because I got the men's. They didn't come big enough in the women's size so I had to get men's, but my feet aren't wide. Just a bit long. Tightening the velcro a little more fixes this for the most part, but I have had some air bubbles that have burped awkwardly mid-climb. It didn't really cause any trouble with climbing itself just a weird feeling.
