As always, Scarpa makes excellent products. Currently, I own and use over 15 Scarpa shoes/boots including climbing shoes, hiking boots, Telemark boots, Mojitos and Cruxes. The Moraine Polar GTX boots will fill the void as my cold weather boots for my upcoming Dolomite ski trip early next year! Fit is a little higher volume than expected for a Scarpa, but with my Soles inserts the fit perfectly!

I live on the west coast so the boots are warm enough for my needs and are nicely light weight. They are quite stiff and the laces are slippery and too short to double knot.
I definitely prefer the fit and flexibility of my Kailash Trek GTX's.
