    Comfortable but…

These boots were really comfortable out of the box. I took them for a few hikes before a big trip to break them in, but they really didn’t need it. They took me 400 km of backpacking in Norway in July. They kept my feet dry, and were comfortable the entire time - no blisters!

I didn’t find the soles very grippy on rocks (at least not as compared to the Scarpa Rush Trk Gtx that I used last year).

My one issue is that on day 2 (of 20) the toe cap on my right boot started coming unglued after a night in a Norwegian drying room. Worrying that my new boots would become an issue later on in the trip was not great, but they did survive. Hopefully I can try to glue the toe cap back down.
