From paved city streets to singletrack trails, there's no surface that the SCARPA Men's Golden Gate ATR GTX running shoe can't handle. Sporting the largest amount of cushion in our trail running shoe lineup. The Golden Gate can pound pavement with the best of them, without your knees feeling it later. We built this shoe to be plenty breathable, thanks to both the mesh windows in the upper fabric and GORE-TEX® lining which wicks away moisture with ease. Of course, that lining is fully waterproof as well, ensuring that you can keep your run going through creeks, streams, and passing showers.

EXO CONSTRUCTION
Highly breathable upper mesh is backed by our EXO internal support matrix, inspired by structural elements of the Golden Gate Bridge. Welded PU reinforcements on the upper add additional structure, support and abrasion resistance.
IRESPOND MIDSOLE SYSTEM
The iRespond system combines two densities of high-performance EVA to provide cushioning and energy return. The forefoot and mid foot features higher density EVA, to provide rebound and "spring" in the toe-off phase, giving energy back to the user. Lower density EVA in the heel provides great cushioning for training.

All SCARPA non-plastic footwear and our Alien 3.0 uses European sizing.
- 1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
- 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
- The 30 Euro sizes below cover the same size range as 24 US sizes
- Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
- For mountaineering boots, upsize (1/2+ sizes) depending on desired fit.

Very comfortable, supportive, light weight and waterproof. A great combo. Heading to Europe for a month and these are the only shoes I’m taking. They run a little small in the toe box. I usually wear a US 10 and bought a pair of 43.5 in Euro size. I had to return them for a 44 (US 10.5) and those fit perfect.
