FORCE V MEN'S

My go-to has always been the Helix but I wanted to try something else.

I really like the Force V. I wear my normal size (43) but it is a little more tapered than my Helixs. The cushion around the inside of the shoe is really nice! It's almost like a running shoe. I don't quite understand the purpose of the cushion but I guess it's something to do with the shoe's 'trad' origins.

I get the impression people complaining about sizing don't really grasp how climbing shoes are suppose to fit...even "all day" shoes aren't suppose to feel like your Chuck Taylors...

I loved these shoes. I wore them at the gym for a year straight, and went on two big outdoor cragging trips with them as well before the toes started to blow. They are very comfortable, and hold edges quite nicely, so their lack of aggression should certainly not limit them to beginners. I still throw them on when I have sore feet because they are not bad to wear all day. Only reason I didn't give them a 10 is because I found Scarpa's Vapor model to last me a lot longer (maybe because I toe-drag way less these days haha). Regardless, these shoes rule and I'll probably buy another pair for comfort cragging once these are really dead.
